The Zand Dynasty Flag (1751–1794) featured a triangular tricolor design with white, green, and black sections, along with the Lion and Sun emblem. This flag represented the Zand Dynasty’s efforts to unify and stabilize Persia after years of warfare. Karim Khan Zand, the dynasty’s founder, is often considered a benevolent ruler who prioritized peace, trade, and prosperity over conquest. He ruled from Shiraz, marking a departure from the war-driven leadership of previous Persian rulers.
